Joe Stephenson

 

 

Joe Stephenson  has been in the apparel industry since a child. His parents Norman and Elida Stephenson owned and operated  Lake Butler Apparel in North Fla from 1960-95 producing pants.  Joe studied Industrial Engineering at University of Central Florida. In 1993 he founded Rocedes Apparel in Nicaragua. Rocedes was the third apparel factory in Nicaragua and the first american owned factory. It was quite a challenge

 

Joe is the past president of various associations as the Nicaraguan Apparel Association(ANITEC),represented the Nicaragua Apparel interest in negotating CAFTA,past Rotary Pres.,Past Industrial Development of N.Fla Pres.,and is the current Pres of AAPN.

 

Joe and his family  now reside in Gainesville Fla.
