Scott has dedicated his whole career to the apparel industry, excelling in such areas as manufacturing, quality control, process planning, plant operative and financial administration, etc. He has more than 20 years of experience apparel manufacturing, 15 of those offshore. Scott started working at a very early age in Lake Butler Apparel for  5 years period, He was part of the founding management starting the factory in Managua in 1993. Today Scott is the active managing principal partner of Rocedes Apparel residing in Managua with his family.

 

As a true believer in networking relationships in the industry, Scott is the founding president of Nicaragua Apparel Association – ANITEC. He has remained on board for more than 13 years, and assumed the presidency of ANITEC again last year. ANITEC’s major projects include to improve the relationships between the government and the industry, to make it easier for the companies in Nicaragua to make business, and to promote apparel industry image nationwide.

 

In addition to ANITEC presidency Scott is also an active member on TPL Administration Committee, of Superior Counsel of Private Companies in Nicaragua, and of Nicaraguan Industry Association – the latter two as a national representative for Apparel Industry.
